What is WILP ?

WILP is a dynamic program where you:

  • Learn by Doing: Gain hands-on experience through On-the-Job Training (OJT) with leading industrial and commercial organizations.
  • Earn While You Learn: Receive a monthly stipend from your sponsoring organization, providing financial support during your training.
  • Develop Industry-Relevant Skills: Acquire skills aligned with National Skills Qualification Framework (NSQF) standards through a blend of practical OJT and online theoretical learning.
  • Build a Strong Career Foundation: Earn recognized certifications from NSDC and partnering universities, enhancing your employability.

How WILP Works:

  • Sponsorship: Industrial and commercial organizations sponsor student-trainees, and provide OJT opportunities and financial support.
  • On-the-Job Training (OJT): Student-trainees are placed in industry settings to gain practical experience in their chosen job roles.
  • Online Learning: Theoretical instruction is delivered online through live classes or a Learning Management System (LMS), that provides flexible learning options.
  • Facilitation: CAIT manages the OJT placement and ensures a smooth training experience.
  • Duration: Programs range from 12 to 24 months, depending on the chosen skill course.
  • Eligibility: Candidates aged 18–26, including school/college dropouts or those with diverse educational backgrounds, are eligible.
